Transforming Resources is considered an out-of-network provider with some insurance companies. If you wish to seek reimbursement for services provided by Transforming Resources, please contact your insurance company and ask if you have out-of-network benefits available to you and how they apply to mental health services at Transforming Resources. You may need to provide your insurance company with the NPI or Taxpayer ID number indicated on the Transforming Resources insurance receipt.

If you have out-of-network benefits that you’d like to use at Transforming Resources, please be advised that you will need to file your own claims with your insurance company. You will want to ask your insurance company how to file your reimbursement claim.

Transforming Resources Out-of-Network Insurance Reimbursement Procedure

1. At the time of your counseling session, you will make full payment (non-discounted) for that session, either by cash, check or credit card.

2. Inform the TR staff that you will need an insurance receipt to file a reimbursement claim with your insurance company.

3. The TR staff will provide you with a completed insurance receipt.

4. File your claim according to the requirements of your insurance company.

5. Your insurance company will reimburse you according to the benefits available to you for mental health services provided by an out-of-network provider.
